Senior Safety At Home - We Care

There's no place like home, but it is important to be safe.  Let's face it, older people are at higher risk of injury and compromised well-being in the home environment.  Sometimes all a parent or senior loved one needs to remain independent is a little extra support or a few modifications.

We can help you stop worrying by showing you how to identify and lessen fall risks and other safety risks of an older person living at home.  We can also help you identify if a senior is no longer safe living alone and can offer many free resources and carefully researched products to modify the situation and help keep your loved ones safe.

"Hi Ronna,

Just wanted to let you know that your site is a really valuable resource for researching senior safety. I just linked to "Safety - 5 Key Signs Your Elderly Parent Has a Significant Risk of Falling - What You Can Do" on the Warman Home Care Blog ...

Thanks for providing this great resource. I will definitely come to your site when researching in the future! "    Julie ,  Warman Home Care

"Dear Ronna,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The safety checklist you provided was so helpful. We were able to modify a few things to make it safer for Mom to navigate with her walker. We also got her a transfer bench for the bathtub and she no longer is afraid to bathe without one of us present. It is amazing that a small item can make such a big difference."   Rikki D., Columbus, OH

"Ronna,

Thank you so much for being there when we needed you most! Your resourcefulness was priceless in terms of helping my mother maintain her dream of independent living beyond what I would have imagined possible. Our family wants to convey our gratitude for all the insights, helpful products and reassurance you gave us when we were simply at a loss for what to do next. With the information, modifications and products you recommended, we were able to keep her safely independent for several more years. You greatly simplified the process and certainly helped all of us, including our mother, feel that we could sleep at night knowing she was safe. The service you provide is invaluable!"

Beth B., daughter of 82 year-old
